Åkestam Holst & Reporters Without Borders - Billboards Beyond Borders
Billboards Beyond Borders by Reporters Without Borders and Åkestam Holst broke new ground by exploiting a Google Street View loophole to create a new type of high-impact outdoor advertising - one that only existed online.
Existing messages on large outdoor billboards in countries where freedom of expression is threatened were replaced with actual quotes from journalists who have been censored or silenced in those particular countries.
Åkestam Holst employees Martin Noreby and Hugo Wallmo, art directors, and Simon Lublin, copywriter, told us about the high-profile campaign. ar unites us

The Cancer Fund's award-winning communication work
The Cancer Foundation and King won Golden Eggs earlier this year for the emotional film, which follows a family where the father is diagnosed with cancer. The campaign was followed up in the summer with a film that once again highlights the impact of cancer on those around you. During the campaign, the Cancer Fund changed its name to, for example, the Moa Fund, the Grandfather Fund and the Little Sister Fund.
JeanetteSundin, Head of Communications and Marketing at the Swedish Cancer Foundation, spoke about the Foundation's acclaimed communication efforts.
