JCDecaux strengthens its offer in Sweden's retail centres
JCDecaux has entered into a long-term partnership with Svenska Handelsfastigheter, one of the country's largest property owners in the field of external trade. The co-operation expands JCDecaux's product portfolio with hundreds of new advertising spaces.
Svenska Handelsfastigheter owns, develops and manages retail properties in well-established retail areas around Sweden.
The new establishments will mean hundreds of new advertising spaces and great opportunities for shopping-related advertising with a broad reach throughout the country. It will be a strong addition to JCDecaux's product portfolio in Sweden's largest shopping centres, which have long included Kungens Kurva and Barkarby.
Our establishment strategy has always been to expand in places in Sweden where many people move and which offer maximum reach for our customers. The new establishments consolidate our offer, which includes the most and best advertising spaces in Sweden's leading shopping centre areas," says CEO Magnus Heljeberg.
The new advertising spaces will be built in Q3 and Q4 and will provide around 200 new advertising spaces in Eurosize format.
Linköping, Malmö, Uppsala, Västerås, Sundsvall and Kalmar are examples of cities that will receive a larger amount of new advertising space.
"We are pleased to strengthen our reach in large parts of Sweden with these new agreements. Trading centre areas are very attractive to our customers and we are pleased to announce the new locations in Q3 this year," says Cecilia Ottobre, Sales Director at JCDecaux.
